HoLa Hora Latina

HoLa Hora Latina is a non-profit organization serving the Latino community of East Tennessee since 1992. Beginning as a gathering place for Spanish speaking newcomers to chat over coffee, the organization was officially chartered as a 501(c)(3) charity in 2003 with the mission of uniting the Knoxville and Latino communities through art, culture, and education. HoLa Hora Latina's flagship event, the HoLa Festival, is returning for its 21st year to World’s Fair Park during the weekend of September 25th and 26th of 2021. The HoLa Festival celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with live music and dancing, fireworks, homecooked Latin cuisine, local artisans, imported beer on tap, a parade of Hispanic nations, community resources, and educational activities for children. In addition to the festival, HoLa Hora Latina manages the Casa HoLa Art Gallery and Artisan Shop inside of the Emporium for the Arts on Gay Street showcasing local and Latin American artists.
