Knoxville Sports & Recreation

When many people think of Knoxville, their first thought is University of Tennessee Athletics. Although they provide great entertainment for the city, there are other teams that offer a lot more than you might think. The Knoxville Ice Bears provide both a family friendly experience while also keep a tradition of winning. The Hard Knox Roller Derby are East Tennessee’s first all-female flat track roller derby league which gives an intense experience to any hardcore sports fan.  The Tennessee Smokies give a more relaxed setting and allow any traveler to have relaxing day at the ballpark and Tennessee Association of Vintage Baseball re-create two of Knoxville's early baseball teams from 1864.
