Born and raised in middle Tennessee, Oren Yarbrough first moved to Knoxville in 2006 to attend school at the University of Tennessee. Over a decade later Oren is now a proud Knoxville transplant and is active in the political, LGBTQ+, and design communities in the area. As a practicing Architect and amateur history enthusiast, Oren has contributed regularly to other online blogs and editorials about various local places of interest and unknown historical events in Knoxville’s past. While in school Oren met Mark Marlow and they have been together ever since, getting married at World’s Fair Park Amphitheater in 2017. Oren joined the Knox Pride Committee as a Graphic Design Chair in 2018.
