Regal Knoxville Turkey Trot 5k + Little Gobbler Kids Run
Join the Knoxville Track Club for a turkey trot in Downtown Knoxville. There will be a one-mile run for kids and their families as well as a 5k afterwards. Pre-activities will be held at The Mill and Mine on West Depot. The Little Gobbler 1 mile Run starts at 8:00 am and the 5K starts at 8:30 am, register here.
The Hot to Trot 5k, 10k and Fun Run
Here is a great way to start your Thanksgiving Day in West Knoxville! The 5K course starts on Parkside Drive in front of Fleet Feet Knoxville and runs through Turkey Creek area then loops back. The 10K course is a 2 loop course. The Fun Run is out and back on Parkside Drive for a total of one mile. Registration fees are $30 for the 5k/10k and $15 for the Fun Run, you can register here.
Gobble Wobble at Seven Islands State Birding Park
The day after Thanksgiving, visit the beautiful Seven Islands State Birding Park for the Gobble Wobble, a fun and free event for the whole family. An up-tempo 3-mile hike will encourage reconnecting and being grateful for our bodies and for our beautiful public lands. Route may include moderate inclines and uneven surfaces. Register here.
Holidays on Ice
Market Square becomes the perfect place to get in the holiday spirit starting the day after Thanksgiving, when Holidays on Ice begins! Enjoy the open-air ice skating rink in the middle of Market Square, skating under the stars and twinkling lights while listening to music. The ice rink stays open from November 25th - January 2nd.
