POV: You’re planning a trip with the fam and you’re overwhelmed with all the options, or maybe you don’t even know where to start. We got you! Here’s a quick post on guaranteed winning attractions:

Little Kids

From crawlers to age 10, look no further than Muse Knoxville. A STEAM (that’s Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) hands-on museum, this spot next to Chilhowee Park in East Knoxville will wear out the kiddos while they learn. Build with LEGO or Rig-ama-jig pieces, create a masterpiece with unique materials, make a joyful noise in the music garden, or calm down in the book nook. And don’t forget the planetarium – sure to inspire wonder and delight!

Big Kids

Calling ages 7 and up – this is for the big kids and even the teenagers. Navitat is a place to take adventure to new heights – literally – in South Knoxville. It’s a combo of aerial elements with bridges, swings, nets, and more plus zip lines. Move through the courses as a family, or have the big kids pick a more challenging and independent option while helping the littler ones navigate the beginner courses. Although, the younger ones just might surprise you! There are 6 adventure trails with 10-12 elements each. Choose daylight or for an extra special outing, enjoy Navitat at Night under the stars!

All Kids

Kids of all ages are guaranteed to love Zoo Knoxville. Little kids will love the Giraffe Encounter, a unique chance to watch a giraffe’s unusual black tongue swirl around a treat straight from their tiny hand. Older kids will get a kick out of the antics of the North American River Otters and Georgie the Gibbon. Eco-conscious teenagers will appreciate the Zoo’s conservation efforts, and can marvel at the variety of species in the ARC (Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Campus). No matter the age of kiddos in tow, Zoo Knoxville is “wildly fun”!
