Zoo Knoxville and Navitat Canopy Adventures are partnering to make Knoxville even more wildly fun!

To kick-off the partnership and encourage locals to take advantage of the adventures they can have at Zoo Knoxville and Navitat, all new and renewing zoo members will receive a gift card for 50% off a Navitat tour for up to four of their friends and family if purchased through Nov. 15, 2016.  The 50% off gift card can be redeemed through May, 2017.

Zoo Knoxville members now receive $5 off Navitat treetop tours at Ijams Nature Center, which include more than 60 adventure elements including ziplines, bridges, swings, nets and elevated tunnels.  Tours are offered during the day and night, when the treetops are transformed by twinkling lights.

“Zoo members live in the Knoxville area and use their membership to have an adventure with us every time they visit,” said Lisa New, CEO and President of Zoo Knoxville.  “We are excited to have the opportunity to offer our members another unique experience in Knoxville by partnering with Navitat.  Like us, they are wildly fun and share our commitment to environmental education and stewardship.”

Future plans include a combination ticket for Zoo Knoxville and Navitat that can be purchased at the Visit Knoxville Center on Gay Street, Zoo Knoxville and Navitat’s Ijams Nature Center location that will be targeted to Knoxville’s tourists.

“We are thrilled to partner with our friends at Zoo Knoxville,” said Mapsy Powers, Navitat Knoxville General Manager. “The wildly fun experience Zoo Knoxville delivers to its guests is an incredible asset in our community, and has been so for years. We’re excited to embark on a long-standing partnership that will work to further showcase Knoxville as a truly excellent visitor destination."
