National Travel and Tourism Week22 (NTTW), the annual celebration of the contributions of the U.S. travel industry, spotlights the essential role that travel plays in driving economic growth and innovation.

Visit Knoxville is celebrating by offering half-off tickets to the 4th Floor Observation Deck of the Sunsphere for the entire week of NTTW to visitors that book their tickets on sunspheretickets.com66 using the code NTTW23.

Additionally, Visit Knoxville is engaging with all 16 Tennessee Welcome Centers throughout the state for National Travel and Tourism Week, providing their staffs with informational collateral and Knoxville-inspired promotional items.

To engage with guests to the Visitors Center, Visit Knoxville is highlighting the local Maker community by hosting a giveaway drawing for a Knoxville-themed gift basket at the end of National Travel and Tourism Week on Saturday May 13. All entrants must submit in person between May 7 – 13 at the Visitors Center at 301 S. Gay Street, and the winner will be contacted directly via email. No purchase necessary.

Visit Knoxville welcomes all hotel partners throughout the county to celebrate by encouraging their staff to wear National Travel and Tourism Week lapel ribbons provided by Visit Knoxville and sharing the above Sunsphere ticket discount with their guests.

“National Travel and Tourism Week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the impact of the travel industry,” said Kim Bumpas, President of Visit Knoxville. “We at Visit Knoxville could not do what we do without the many tourism partners throughout the City of Knoxville and Knox County to promote this incredible destination.”
