Knoxville, Tenn. (December 11, 2023) – The Tennessee Valley Fair brought home several awards from the International Association of Fairs and Expositions’ annual convention this past month. Around 1,100 fairs and expositions from around the world are a part of the International Association of Fairs and Expositions. The Tennessee Valley Fair falls into Division 2, with fairs and expos who have an attendance of 100,000-250,000. The awards the Tennessee Valley Fair received were:
- Agricultural Awards: First Place in Agriculture Photo: Livestock
- Agricultural Awards: First Place in Agriculture Photo: Miscellaneous
- Agricultural Awards: Second Place in Agriculture Photo: Rodeo
- Hall of Honor Communications: First Place in Guidebook
- Hall of Honor Communications: Third Place in Billboard
The Tennessee Valley Fair also received the highly coveted “Best in Division 2 for Agriculture” award which is given to the entry in each division with the highest judged score (Agriculture Photo: Livestock).

The International Association of Fairs and Expositions annually conducts contests for its members to recognize and reward excellence in the industry. Each entry is judged by fairs and expositions professionals.
The 104th Tennessee Valley Fair takes place September 6th-15th, 2024.
