STIR Knoxville will continue the tradition of excellence set by its sister establishments, offering an unmatched dining experience that combines made-from-scratch food,craft cocktails, artisanal ice, an expansive oyster and raw seafood bar, and a vibrant ambiance. Located at 217 Willow Ave Knoxville, TN 37915, the new establishment occupies a prime spot in the heart of Old City, providing patrons with easy access to the area's active energy and entertainment options. “We are elated to be a part of the old city in Knoxville! STIR Knoxville features an expansive 5,424 square feet inside and a total of 315 seats. The restaurant’s floor-to-ceiling windows and industrial roll-up garage doors seamlessly connect guests with the outdoors and dog-friendly patio. All dining areas were built purposefully, to promote relaxed social interactions between guests. Building upon the success of the previous STIR locations, the team crafted a made-from-scratch menu that celebrates the flavors of Southern cuisine while incorporating global influences. Guests can expect an array of craveable dishes expertly prepared from scratch by STIR’s team of talented chefs.
STIR’s signature raw bar is always stocked with fresh oysters and seasonal seafood offerings. Their professional, knowledgeable oyster shuckers will walk guests through the wide variety of oysters at the seafood bar. STIR will offer lunch and dinner service seven days a week, as well as a weekend brunch menu that is served on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 10:00am - 2:30pm.
STIR also features an extensive beverage program that starts with their artisanal ice. The restaurant freezes their own 300-pound blocks of ice that is hand carved to pair each cut with their expertly crafted cocktail. Their vast selection of spirits and wines features privately selected barrels, draft craft cocktails, barrel-aged cocktails, and exclusive bottles of luxury spirits and wines. The bartenders can skillfully craft a wide selection of cocktails , offering guests a diverse range of beverages that complement and enhance their dining experience.
STIR Knoxville and the Square Up Foundation have teamed up to support the Stephens Cancer Care Fund, to benefit patients with cancer through treatment, medication costs, equipment and services in The University of Tennessee Medical Center Cancer Institute. “Progress in conquering cancer is ongoing at an intensely rapid rate. New technologies to diagnose and treat cancer are evolving daily. Supporting the Stephens Cancer Care Fund will assist the University of Tennessee Medical Center’s Cancer Institute carry out its mission of healing, education and discovery. This effort makes a difference, right here in our community,” said John Bell, M.D., surgical oncologist and director of the Cancer Institute.
