Brother Wolf, Tennessee’s only Italian aperitivo bar and Esquire Best Bar 2022 recipient, today announces Jolene’s, its first-ever Dolly Parton themed pop-up. Conjuring an Appalachian saloon, it celebrates the “Patron Saint of the South” with craft cocktails, cowgirl chic decor and music inspired by the queens of country.

Cocktails and shots include:

Party Drinks $13

Cup of Ambition - BW’s signature Espresso Martini with a Strawberry Cream

Parton My French - Rye, brandy, sweet vermouth, Blended Family Peach Liqueur, Bitters

I Will Always Love Dew - Malfy Rosa Grapefruit Gin, honeydew, lime, salted air

Neon Cowgirl - Cachaça, kiwi, lemon, lime

Tennessee Tornado (Frozen) - Bourbon, Cocchi Rossa, Cheerwine, lime, vanilla

Shooties for Cuties $9

Funnel Cake - Rum, Pasubio Amaro, Frangelico

Jolene’s Juice - Serrano pepper, tequila, honey

Inspired by Dolly’s generous nature, Brother Wolf will donate a portion of Jolene’s cocktail sales to Imagination Library, her beloved charity. This book-gifting program provides free literature to Tennessee kids in an effort to end illiteracy.

The pop-up will also feature a “Big Gay Hoedown” on Monday, June 12, 2023, a country & western Pride event that raises money for Positively Living, a Knoxville LGBTQ charity.

Brother Wolf and Osteria Stella

Located in Downtown Knoxville, Tenn., Brother Wolf is an Italian Negroni bar named to Esquire’s Best Bars in America 2022. Its adjacent sister restaurant, Osteria Stella, a Northern Italian restaurant focused on Milan and beyond, has been celebrated by Italy’s prominent publication La Cucina Italiana. Owned and operated by one of the city’s premier power couples of hospitality, Aaron Thompson and Jessica King, formerly of the famed craft cocktail bar Sapphire, their venues are groundbreaking in The Volunteer State’s third-largest city. Thompson is a distinguished Sommelier, Chef and Bartender with 29 years of hospitality experience, while King, a third-generation Knoxvillian and acclaimed Mixologist, helped popularize craft cocktails in The Marble City during her 20 years in the industry. Brother Wolf celebrates the Negroni and aperitivo cocktails, as well as authentic Italian amari, served with light bites. Osteria Stella is led by Chef John Hasentufel in collaboration with Amalia Brusati, a Milanese consulting chef who lives in Knoxville, and serves a definitive selection of natural and sustainable Italian wines.
