The KARM Dragon Boat Festival will be Saturday, June 18 at the Cove at Concord Park form 8a-4p and promises to be as action-packed as ever, with family friendly fun and events throughout the day. As a major fundraiser for Knox Area Rescue Ministries each year, the event helps provide much needed summer funding for food and shelter for those in need to come to KARM in an emergency state.
40 teams will compete in several categories for a variety of prizes for race times, best fundraiser, best team name, etc. The event is free to the public, with donation stations available for attendees to contribute. Free parking is available at Farragut High School and shuttle buses will be running all day back and forth between the Cove and Farragut High School.
