Testimonial
Having been a part of the Sports Authority Internship Program has been an incredible opportunity for me. As an aspiring Civil Engineer, being a part of this program has given me the opportunity to learn and grow both technically and professionally. Additionally, the program has provided me with the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and on the job experience within my field of study. Through this internship, I was able to work with S&ME on things related to the new Smokies Stadium, as well as other projects. Working with S&ME has given me a better understanding of what the engineering process is, and how a project moves from the design phase to the construction phase. During my internship, I was able to improve my Civil 3D skills as well as gain new professional relationships. Overall, I really enjoyed being a part of this program and I have gained tremendously by being a part of it. Being a part of the internship provided me with the opportunity to continue working with S&ME on a part-time basis. All in all, I am very grateful to have been a part of this program, and I believe it is an amazing opportunity for anyone who wants to participate.
