River Bluff Wildlife Area

Explore this primitive park featuring Civil War history, two lakes and inspiring views of downtown Knoxville from the bluffs high above the Tennessee River.  Trails are currently unmarked at this park. Access is available by trail only from Scottish Pike, parking is available at Cherokee Trail Trailhead.

Directions: From downtown, take the Henley Street bridge south to Chapman Highway; turn right on Blount Avenue; turn right onto Clancy Avenue; turn left onto Scottish Pike; turn left onto Carls Lane; turn left onto Cherokee Trail.  Entrance to the area is on the right.  Cars may park in the gravel area directly next to the road.
