2019 TYR Pro Swim Series

The 2019 TYR Pro Swim Series will kick-off the new year January 9-12, taking place at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center on the campus of the University of Tennessee, marking the first time Knoxville has played host to a TYR Pro Swim Series event.

Historically, each stop in the Series attracts between 400-600 of the world’s top swimmers including, USA Swimming National Team members, Junior National Team members and top 50 world ranked swimmers. Expected to headline the standout Knoxville field are multi-time Olympic gold medalists and world-record holders Katie Ledecky and Ryan Murphy as well as follow individual Olympic champions Matt Grevers and Simone Manuel. Olympic medalist and world champion Chase Kalisz  also is expected to compete after winning the men’s TYR Pro Swim Series title in 2018 for the second straight year.

Tennessee Aquatics is a USA Swimming Silver Medal year round swim program serving swimmers of all levels by offering programs in competitive swimming, Masters swimming, non-competitive swim groups, lessons programs, and now even diving. Tennessee Aquatics prides itself on providing a great culture and learning environment for all of our athletes, while consistently being one of the top ten teams at Junior Nationals. The club trains at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center and the University of Tennessee Student Aquatic Center and has access to 30 SCY lanes and 18 LCM lanes during the competitive season.
