Professional Time Trial Championships in downtown Knoxville.

Individual Time Trial: An individual time trial (ITT) is a road bicycle race in which cyclists race alone against the clock.  ITT's are also referred to as "the race of truth", as winning depends only on each rider's strength, endurance and determination against the clock.

DETAILS

  • Saturday, June 24th, 2017
  • 10:00am Start Time
  • Same course as the Professionals
  • Total distance 9.56 miles (two laps of a 4.78 mile course)
  • Closed course with police and medical support
  • USA Cycling Rules and Waiver Requirements Apply

 

$500 ENTRY FEE

  • Two tickets for both Saturday and Sunday to the exclusive Hospitality Area at the Start/Finish Line in The Old City
  • Pictures by official race photographer
  • Each female and male winner will be recognized during the official Awards Ceremony

RULES

  • Starting times are at equal intervals
  • Each rider will have the opportunity to complete two laps of the 4.78 mile / total distance of 9.56 mi
  • Competitors are not permitted to draft (ride in the slipstream) behind each other
  • Any help between riders is forbidden. The rider with the fastest time is declared the winner
