Senior Director of Sales
Sarah Rowan joined the VK Team in 2013 as a Sales Director where she focused for two years on recruiting associations and groups within the scientific, engineering, trade, hobby and agricultural markets to meet in Knoxville. In September 2015, Rowan stepped into the role of Senior Director of Sales and is responsible for overseeing all convention sales efforts. Rowan and her team of destination sales experts and support staff are tasked with selling Knoxville as an ideal destination for conferences, conventions, meetings and trade shows, increasing group and convention business into the City of Knoxville and Knox County, producing the highest possible economic impact as a result.
Rowan has been a lifelong East Tennessee resident. Originally from Johnson City, Tennessee Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication from East Tennessee State University and began her career in tourism and hospitality as Director of Sales for the Johnson City Convention & Visitors Bureau. Her favorite thing about working for Visit Knoxville is the ability to add value and make a difference in her community. Her favorite thing about the tourism industry is the opportunity to meet so many people from all over and share her passion of Knoxville with them!

Pearl is a native Knoxvillian. Working in the hospitality industry for over 10 years, Pearl brings sales and marketing experience to her role at Visit Knoxville. She enjoys family time, listening to a variety of music, and laughing with friends. What she most likes about Knoxville is the beautiful four seasons - especially fall, when she can cheer on the VOLS!

Chemain Kellogg is a native San Diego girl who will tell you there is no place she would rather be than in Knoxville, Tennessee. She is always claiming that though her body is Western, her soul is Southern. Along with her husband and two teenagers, Knoxville has satisfied everything in life that they hold passion for. From hiking, to biking, watersports, regional travel, music, art, festivals and most importantly amazing food and brew, Knoxville has it all and so much more. What better industry for her to land in and better place for her to represent?
Chemain got her start from the hotel side as an Executive Meeting Manager and then Corporate Sales Manager with the Holiday Inn in Downtown Knoxville. With excitement and enthusiasm she represents Visit Knoxville selling this place she hand chose to be her home.
Chemain focuses on the following markets: Social, Military, Education, Religious, Fraternal (SMERF), Heritage/Patriotic, Cultural/Fine Arts, Libraries, and Hobby/Vocational.
Originally from Charleston, SC, Nick relocated to Knoxville in 2011 eager for a new challenge in a new city. After visiting for several years, he took a chance on this city and never looked back, quickly making Knoxville “home”. Prior to Visit Knoxville, Nick spent nearly fourteen years in hotel operations and sales in independent and branded properties; starting as a bellman and advancing to a Director role. Joining the team at Visit Knoxville was a natural transition for Nick, as his passion for the success of this city is second to none.
If he’s not working, you can find Nick cheering on the Vols or taking advantage of Knoxville’s outdoors – mountain biking, backpacking, adult rec sports, or diving into the ever-changing culinary and craft brewery scene with his wife and son.
