During these uncertain times, it’s important to know…
Knoxrocks Safe Meetings & Events
There’s plenty to love about Knoxville. And we continue to protect everything you love about it: like the charming sights, sounds and flavors you can only experience here.
From newly implemented guidelines at the Knoxville Convention Center to a community-based approach for a safe re-opening, you can experience peace of mind in a destination that is committed to the health and safety of you and your attendees. Our hotels are hosting meetings with enhanced cleaning measures, physically distanced meeting room sets and food & beverage service adjustments to ensure the highest levels of safety. As we re-open our doors it’s vital that we stay committed to being SAFE together…because safe together makes us BETTER together.
It’s easy to enjoy Knoxville from six feet apart—with a couple feet to spare. So come for the meetings AND the mountains. But for the love of Knoxville, wear a mask, wash your hands and practice social distancing.
The Knox County Board of Health has mandated mask wearing county-wide in indoor public spaces and enclosed spaces where maintaining 6 feet of social distancing is not feasible. Knoxville is also abiding by the Tennessee Pledge.
Safe Site Visit Program
As we continue moving forward with site selection and booking for future programs, the Visit Knoxville Sales Team and our partners are committed to safely hosting you for site inspections.

“We held our October Association board meetings in Knoxville in mid-October and had a great experience in terms of southern hospitality, being welcomed to the city and safety/healthy protocols related to COVID-19. We were in communication with our facility and the Visit Knoxville team for several months leading up to our meetings. The Visit Knoxville team kept me up to date on the city’s requirements, protocols and changes that took place regarding social distancing, mask requirements, etc. The CVB also offered us signs to have around our event reminding people of the COVID-19 requirements. The Crowne Plaza Knoxville did a great job having our room sets and meal functions socially distanced and safe so that multiple people were not touching reception utensils. While catering has changed, the hotel had plenty of options to choose from, including some for me as a meeting planner and attendees with meal restrictions. It was important for our Association to still conduct important business in person, while adhering to the changing times and requirements. The city of Knoxville and Crowne Plaza did a great job working with me as a meeting planner during these stressful times.” —Lindsay Barber, Director of Meetings – National Agricultural Aviation Association
