Visit Knoxville will resume the Knox - Smokies Shuttle service effective June 9, 2020 and reservations are now being accepted. In support of the health and safety of our guests and employees, we are limiting the shuttle to a maximum of 4 passengers. All guests will be required to answer screening questions prior to boarding and are required to wear a mask for the entirety of the trip. For your safety, our shuttle driver also answers screening questions and will be wearing a mask throughout the entire trip. Please note that masks will not be provided by Visit Knoxville and guests will need to bring their own.
Visit Knoxville is pleased to offer Shuttle Service to and from the Smoky Mountains. The Knox Smokies Shuttle is ideal for those who want to experience more of this beautiful region.
TO THE SMOKIES:
Day trips from the Knoxville Visitors Center at 301 S. Gay Street are offered every Tuesday and Thursday and depart promptly at 8:30am.
Ticket includes round trip shuttle to Historic Old Mill Trolley Station and one full-day wristband (per person) for the Fun Time Trolley system.
The Knox Smokies Shuttle arrives around 9:30am at the Historic Old Mill in Pigeon Forge.
From the Historic Old Mill, you can access a variety of destinations including:
- Dollywood/Splash Country
- Tanger Five Oaks Outlets
- Gatlinburg Free Trolley System
- The Island at Pigeon Forge
- Ober Gatlinburg
- Gatlinburg Free Trolley System
Pick-Up for the return trip to the Knoxville Visitors Center takes place at 4:00pm at Historic Old Mill in Pigeon Forge.
Day trips from the Historic Old Mill at 164 Old Mill Ave in Pigeon Forge are offered every Tuesday and Thursday and depart promptly at 9:30am.
The Knox Smokies Shuttle arrives around 10:30am at the Knoxville Visitors Center.
From here, you can access Knoxville’s FREE Trolleys to visit a variety of destinations including:
- Market Square
- Historic Gay Street
- The Old City
- World’s Fair Park & The Sunsphere
- Museums & Historic Homes
- Blueways & Greenways
- University of Tennessee
Pick-Up for the return trip to the Historic Old Mill in Pigeon Forge takes place at 3:00pm at the Knoxville Visitors Center.
Cost: $40 per person / $140 per group (up to 6 people)
Tickets must be purchased no later than 4pm EST day prior to trip. Limit 6 passengers per trip.
Pigeon Forge tickets include round trip shuttle to Historic Old Mill Trolley Station and one full-day trolley wristband per person. Knoxville Trolleys are free for all passengers.

In Knoxville, you may park in the Visit Knoxville Visitors Center parking lot. Be sure to obtain a permit at the front desk. In Pigeon Forge, you may park at the Historic Old Mill.
Individuals must provide any necessary car seats.

Service pets require identification. No other pets are allowed in shuttle.
All personal items should remain with you. The Shuttle Provider is not responsible for any items left in shuttle.
If you desire to go in to Gatlinburg, you can connect via the Fun Time Trolley (using the wristband you will receive with shuttle service) to the Gatlinburg Welcome Center. There, you will need to pay an additional charge of 50¢ (per person) to go to downtown Gatlinburg, where you will connect with their free trolley service. Knoxville Trolleys are free for all passengers.
The shuttle cannot be held. We will make attempts to reach you. However, if missed, return trips will be at the person’s expense and coordination.
Refunds/exchanges are ONLY offered if a shuttle trip is cancelled by the Shuttle Provider (Visit Knoxville) due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
