Trolley Routes General Information:

There are three trolley routes that serve the downtown and UT area: The Green Line, The Blue Line and the Orange Line. Trolley maps are available at locations throughout downtown, including the Knoxville Station. Visit the Schedules & Maps page to see the trolley map. The trolley service operates fare-free.

Trolleys do not run on holidays or on Saturdays when there is a UT home football game.

Trolley Routes:

The Blue Line Trolley provides service to KAT’s Knoxville Station Transit Center, the Civic Coliseum, and Volunteer Landing. Hop on the Blue Line to enjoy lunch at Market Square, dinner along the waterfront, or a walk through the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. Park at the Civic Coliseum garage and connect to downtown attractions with ease.

Runs every 7 minutes Monday-Friday, and every 15 minutes on Saturday
Monday-Thursday: 6:45 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Fridays: 6:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Green Line Trolley offers service to Downtown Knoxville’s most happening areas. Head down Gay Street and into the Old City to visit local breweries, restaurants and shopping. Don’t forget you can use the Green Line to get straight from the free parking area in the Old City to the rest of downtown!

Runs every 10 minutes
Monday-Thursday: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Fridays 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturdays 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Downtown Loop extension (providing service to Summit Towers) runs hourly from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Orange Line Trolley connects passengers from the University of Tennessee and the World’s Fair Park areas to Downtown Knoxville. Students, residents, and visitors can travel for free from events on the UT campus to dining and shopping in the heart of downtown.

Fridays: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
