  • Location: Seven Islands State Birding Park

Flowers are blooming and the fields are filled with a rainbow of colors! The bees, insects, butterflies and birds are busy this time of year exploring the numerous wildflowers now blooming in the park as they search for nectar and pollen. Join Seasonal Interpretive Ranger Stephanie Mueller for a walk in the park to explore and learn more about the beautiful wildflowers found within Seven Islands State Birding Park.

Meet at the Bluebird Barn by the parking lot at the main entrance of the park by 8:00 AM. Participants are encouraged to bring plenty of water, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, and sturdy walking shoes. The easy to moderate hike will be 2-3 miles along the trails in the park. Some of the trails we will be walking on are paved, while some are dirt and grass.

This program is $5.00 per adult, but children are welcome to attend as well and will be included with their parent/guardian's registration fee. Come out to Seven Islands State Birding Park on May 25th for a great time and beautiful views!
