Eli Fox is a young folksinger who has been playing music and writing songs since his pre-teen years. Inspired early on by the dialect of Woody Guthrie and the feel of a 5 string banjo, Eli started his musical journey. Since then, Eli has gone on to become a proficient musician and songwriter. Not limited by his hands, Eli plays at least 10 instruments, including but not limited to: banjo, dobro, pedal steel, guitar, harmonica, fiddle, piano, accordion, mandolin, drums and more. This equips him with a unique perspective on writing songs with exciting and expansive melodies. With 2 albums already under his belt, Eli is poised to present his third album “Or Something Like That” in 2019. The album features 11 original songs with Eli backing himself on banjo, pedal steel, guitar, harmonica, dobro and electric guitar, as well as appearances by guest musicians. After appearing at venues such as the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival, Bijou Theatre, Purple Fiddle and Bristol Rhythm & Roots and opening for artists such as Darrell Scott, John McCutcheon, Boy Named Banjo, Emily Ann Roberts and more, Eli is ready to share his blend of American folk music with the world.
