Ages 3-4
Piet Mondrian was a painter best known for his paintings of simple geometric patterns featuring primary colors. The simplicity of his abstract work makes it a great jumping off point for our youngest artists!

Ages 5-6
Marc Chagall’s dreamy paintings can ignite the imaginations of children! In this class, students start by learning about Chagall and then practice blending colors and creating their own amazing artwork.

Ages 7-9
Pablo Picasso’s work creates a great opportunity for children to explore the difference between realistic and abstract artwork. In this class, students create portraits in a variety of styles and experiment with Cubism.

Ages 10-12
Vincent Van Gogh is a wonderful artist for older children to study. His style of applying paint is a lot of fun to imitate, and his use of color is fascinating to explore. In this class, students create work inspired by Van Gogh, and learn to create a color palette before beginning their paintings.
