Four-time Grammy-nominated Pine Leaf Boys headlines Fais Do-Do, the best Cajun dance party outside of Louisiana, right here in Knoxville, on Friday, Nov. 22nd!
The band puts a rock and roll spin on old fashion dance hall standards to create a sound for the ears as well as the feet. Rolling Stone said the band is “the next best thing to a Saturday night dance in Lafayette!” Roux du Bayou, a favorite Knoxville dance band, will open the set with a repertoire that includes French and Creole ballads and plenty of present-day Cajun sound. You don't have to be born in the bayou to appreciate great Cajun music and dance!
Tickets to Fais Do-Do are $35 and available online at Eventbrite. Doors open at 7:00p.m. and show start is 7:30p.m. Beer and wine will be sold. Proceeds benefit Legacy Housing Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that serves subsidized housing communities throughout East Tennessee by providing programs and goods for individuals and families with limited income.
