The annual luncheon funds the work of Legacy Parks Foundation to conserve green space, create public places, and connect our community.

Pete McBride is an award-winning photographer, writer and visual storyteller whose love of adventure, cultures and the outdoors have taken him on assignment to over 75 countries for the National Geographic Society, Smithsonian, Outside, Esquire, Microsoft, The Nature Conservancy – documenting remote expeditions from Everest to Antarctica. Over the last year, McBride hiked the entire length of Grand Canyon National Park—over 700 miles without a trail – earning him the honor of National Geographic “Adventurer of the Year.”

Over 1,000 civic leaders attended the Legacy Luncheon last year.
