Itzhak Perlman will be performing a concert alongside pianist Rohan De Silva as a continuation of the highly-acclaimed community event Violins of Hope (VOH), which was held in Knoxville in 2019.
VOH holds great meaning for Mr. Perlman; at the age of 8, he was given his first violin by Moshe Weinstein, the father of the founder of VOH. In the face of escalating hate crimes, Violins of Hope events continue to travel around the world teaching tolerance and resilience.
This performance by the legendary Itzhak Perlman will be the capstone of the Knoxville VOH experience. We look forward to an amazing evening with Mr. Perlman here in Knoxville.
