Learn these details and more about the history, performances, and complete renovation of the Official State Theatre of Tennessee. You’ll go to areas not usually open to the public, and walk away with a better understanding and appreciation for this architectural and cultural gem. (Health and safety precautions due to covid-19 will be strictly observed at all times.)
BASIC TOUR (60-75 minutes, $15 per person) A guided walkthrough featuring the fascinating history, renovation, and performance highlights of the Theatre. Attendees will tour the grand lobby, auditorium, stage, and dressing rooms. All areas are accessible by elevator if needed.
DELUXE TOUR (90-100 minutes, $25 per person) An in-depth discovery of the Theatre’s rich history and comprehensive renovation, and its performances, past and present. In addition to the grand lobby, auditorium, stage, and dressing rooms, attendees will visit the projection booth and attic, the fly floor, and learn more about the theatrical equipment that brings the shows to life. Some areas are accessible only by several flights of stairs.
