The Christmas Buffet for 2019 includes:
CHILLED SEAFOOD DISPLAY: peel and eat shrimp, oysters, mussels and crawfish, cocktail sauce, horseradish and lemons, a smoked salmon and smoked Carolina trout display.
HOLIDAY DISPLAY OF CURED MEATS AND CHEESES: prosciutto, salami and summer sausage
stilton, buttermilk cheddar, brie and cranberry white stilton
BREAKFAST: Chef-made omelets with a variety of fillings, Belgian waffles with whipped cream, butter, maple syrup and strawberries, cured bacon and country sausage patties, sautéed potatoes with onions and thyme, a seasonal fruit and berries display, a collection of muffins, pastries, and breakfast breads
CARVING: savory herb rubbed prime rib au jus, smoked ham with cola-brown sugar glaze
MAIN COURSE: mixed field greens salad with assorted toppings and dressings, baby arugula with gorgonzola, dried cranberries, pecans and bacon with cider-shallot dressing, marinated cucumbers with Roma tomatoes and chick peas, macaroni salad with green peas and cheddar cheese, southern broccoli salad with raisins, seared chicken breast with spinach, mushrooms and pearl onions, roasted Atlantic cod Newburg, herb roasted pork loin with candied sweet potatoes, old fashioned green bean casserole, Joe’s signature macaroni and cheese, roasted asparagus with shallots, and mashed Yukon gold potatoes
CHEF’S SELECTION OF TREATS: double chocolate cake, Tennessee cheesecake, key lime pie, caramel-apple pie, pecan pie, peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream, and caramel bread pudding with vanilla sauce.
