Discover a new way to see the city on this family-friendly bike ride through the beautiful Sequoyah Hills neighborhood. Sequoyah Hills is home to one of 12 Dogwood Trails located throughout our city that celebrate the natural, scenic beauty of the region. Produced in partnership with DreamBikes – Knoxville and Dogwood Arts, the ride will be approximately 3.3 miles and cyclists must wear helmets and have a basic understanding of road riding/bicycle handling. FREE. Ages 8+ recommended.
The ride will begin at 2250 Cherokee BLVD (in the parking lot on the West end of the boulevard) and will be led by DreamBikes – Knoxville and Dogwood Arts staff members.
Dogwood Arts is celebrating 65 years of blooming trails by featuring the Sequoyah Hills Trail in 2020. One of the oldest premier neighborhoods in the city, this idyllic community is home to Knoxville’s first Dogwood Trail which was established in 1955. While every season will delight you with color in Sequoyah Hills, spring rolls out the red carpet; from abundant flowering dogwoods and spectacular landscapes to the line of ancient cherry trees along Cherokee Boulevard.
