The 10th annual Snow Day, a CAC Beardsley Community Farm Benefit, will be hosted at the Mill and Mine at 7 pm on Friday, January 28th 2018. Snow Day will feature five performances by a diverse group of musicians, a soup contest between some of Knoxville's finest restaurants, and a silent auction. Local artisans, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to participate in the large silent auction by donating prizes.
Admission tickets are $15 at the door. Soup is $5. Or if you preorder, you only pay $10 for admission AND soup!
Our list of musicians are Annabelle’s Curse, Sweet Years, The Theorizt, Old City Buskers and The Spooky Ooos!
Our soup contestants will be OliBea, Good Golly Tamale, Landing House, Coolato Gelato, Clinch River Brewing, Boyds Jig and Reel and many more to be announced soon! All soups will be served with Flour Head Bakery Bread! Come try several soups, and vote for your favorite vegan and vegetarian soups. The winner will receive a beautiful gourd award. Arrive early before soup runs out.

About the farm:
CAC Beardsley Community Farm is an urban community farm that promotes food security and sustainable agriculture. Since 1998, Beardsley Farm has worked to increase access to fresh produce in Knoxville’s food deserts through produce donations, educational programs, and community gardening. Beardsley Farm grows over 10,000 pounds of produce (consisting of over 100 varieties of fruits, vegetables, and herbs) on about four-acres of productive land with the help of over 2,000 annual volunteers.
