It’s that time of year again when summer is winding down and fall is blowing on in, albeit a bit slow for us here in the south. This seasonal shift brings not only the changing foliage as the leaves progress from green to yellow to orange, but also University of Tennessee’s school year and football season. This natural transition to orange kicks off just in time to celebrate the Vols, and the Visit Knoxville Gift Shop has the items that will make you shout, “Go Big Orange!”
Come visit our Gift Shop downtown at 301 Gay Street to pick up the latest UT gear. Stick around to catch a live jam from WDVX’s Blue Plate Special and grab a Visitors Guide and local attraction brochures. If you’ve got questions about your visit, we’ll be happy to help.
When it comes to Gameday, we’ve got you covered! Check out our classic selection of Vols orange and white T-shirts, perfect for you and your friends to checkerboard Neyland Stadium or simply celebrate in your living room! If you decide to show your Vol support from the comfort of home, be sure to gather your party supplies ahead of time. We’ve got retro magnetic Vol bottle openers so you can pop a cold one in style all season long – here’s a handy list of beer markets to nab a six pack before the game.

Gameday celebrations aren’t only for grown-ups, we’ve got just the item for Vol kiddos: our Gift Shop has been given the honor of housing snuggly, personal versions of Smokey and they’re ready for their fur-ever homes! Adopt a stuffed Smokey from our shop and then take your pal on an adventure around campus to find all the Smokey Statues. Smokey the Bluetick Coonhound has been the University of Tennessee’s loyal mascot since 1953, and we’re sure these plush pups will be your loyal furry friends too!
Whatever the occasion this football season, Visit Knoxville has you and your family covered (in orange). We’ve got more than what’s mentioned here so come see us in store or shop online and gift our Volunteer merch to your football friends and foes alike. This fall season’s beautifully changing leaves are a natural reminder to gather up your favorite orange gear and sport it in support of our Volunteers!
