Brian Salesky has served as Executive and Artistic Director of Knoxville Opera since 2005.  Maestro Salesky’s 50-year career in the performing arts as conductor, producer, administrator, pianist, writer, and consultant, has taken him to 65 cities around the world including numerous appearances on television and radio.  Among his fondest memories are conducting two musicals on Broadway, concerts in Spain with operatic legends Renata Scotto and Alfredo Kraus, and working with the animators and directors of Walt Disney’s Fantasia 2000.
