Knoxville has truly embraced Broadway, and we couldn't be more excited for what the future holds,” says Becky Hancock, Executive Director of the Tennessee Theatre.

The 2014-2015 season will launch in September with the return of MAMMA MIA! “MAMMA MIA! is one of the most successful Broadway shows ever presented at the Tennessee Theatre, and we expect all three performances to sell out,” Hancock said. Over 54 million people all around the world have fallen in love with the characters, the story and the music of MAMMA MIA!, and the show currently has more productions playing internationally than any other musical.

The season continues with SISTER ACT, based on the hit motion picture starring Whoopi Goldberg and featuring original music by 8-time Oscar® winner Alan Menken. The New York Post calls it “RIDICULOUSLY FUN,” and audiences are jumping to their feet in total agreement!

Leapin' Lizards! On the heels of its Tony-Award® nominated Broadway revival, ANNIE will begin 2015 with an 8-show run January 6-11. Featuring the book and score by Tony-Award® winners Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charmin, this production of ANNIE is a brand new incarnation of the original while still featuring songs that include the unforgettable “It's a Hard Knock Life” and the eternal anthem of optimism “Tomorrow.”

GUYS AND DOLLS soars with the spirit of Broadway as it introduces a cast of vivid characters in what considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy. The retro theme continues with THE RAT PACK IS BACK starring Vegas' four favorite sons: Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Dean Martin and Joey Bishop. Produced by Dick Feeney, it features a hot, live 12-piece orchestra that sends audiences straight back to the coolest time in history.
