Join us on September 11th, 2015 at the Standard Knoxville for The first annual Vol Kick Off Party, presented by Sweet P’s BBQ and Extrovert Media - featuring entertainment from P3riph3ral, The Hermit Kings and a reunion show by Knoxville’s own beloved funk-rock powerhouse, Gran Torino.
The Vol Kick Off Party 2015 is a pep rally to ring in the 2015 - 2016 University of Tennessee Football season by hosting a variety of notable UT alumni athletes and legendary celebrities. This event, in true volunteer spirit, will also serve as a fundraiser for Green Magnet (STEAM) Academy and it’s mission: One Community. One Vision. Every Student.
Sponsored by Cherokee Distributing Co. and Rothchild Knoxville, this party will have delicious food available from Sweet P’s Downtown Dive, electronic entertainment from Knoxville’s P3riph3ral, and plenty of fun games and door prizes to get you primed and pumped for the Vol’s first home game of the season against the Oklahoma Sooners! The party ‘kicks off’ at 4:00 PM and is free and open to the public until 7:00 PM, when patrons and supporters who have purchased concert tickets can stick around for what is sure to be an incredible night of live music when Gran Torino reunite to perform their magnetic, kinetic and energetic, brand of rock and soul!
The 2015 Vol Kick Off Party is being held just over a mile and a half from Neyland Stadium at The Standard Knoxville. This beautiful and newly renovated event space boasts over 10,000 square feet, and is sure to fill up with Vol fans and music lovers alike!
