Road Closures The Weekend of March 7-8

The following closures will take place this weekend:

March 7 - Mardi Growl
Central Ave between Summit & Clinch will be closed from 7am - Noon
Commerce between Central & State will be closed from 7am - Noon
Market Street between Union & Market will be closed from 10am - 3pm
*Temporary No Parking will begin at 7am
Union Ave between Walnut & Gay will be closed from 10am - 3pm
*Temporary No Parking will begin at 7am

Temporary Closure along route:
Parade begins at Central and Summit Hill at 11am
Route: Central to Jackson, Jacskon to Gay, Gay to Clinch, Clinch to Market, Market to Union

****There will be Temporary No Parking on both sides of Gay Street between Summit Hill & Clinch. 
Temporary No Parking on Gay Street will begin at 7am***********

March 8 - Civil Rights March
Temporary rolling closure during March, 
March begins at Gay Street & Blount Ave at 2pm
Route: Proceed across Gay Street Bridge, right onto Hill Ave, Hill Ave to Hall of Fame, Hall of Fame to Church Ave
Both lanes of Gay Street will be closed at 2pm for the March across bridge.
