“This will be my first appearance as KSO Music Director, and I couldn’t be more excited,” said KSO Music Director Aram Demirjian. “Last January, when I conducted a pair of concerts at the Tennessee Theater, I felt an immediate connection with these incredible musicians and our enthusiastic audience, and I am eager now to introduce myself to the entire Knoxville community. Above all, symphonic music is a source of joy, connection and unity for everyone who plays and listens to it, and I cannot think of a better way to begin our journey together than celebrating our great nation with a free concert at the heart of the city this July 4th.”
The KSO is proud to partner with the City of Knoxville, Pilot Flying J and WBIR-TV for this Independence Day concert. Both the concert and the fireworks display will be live broadcast on WBIR-TV Channel 10. Click here for more information on parking, activities and prohibited items.
