Knoxville Opera Poster ContestMaryville College student Rebecca Branton is the winner of the region’s first-ever Opera Poster Competition. In addition to a $750 prize, she also has bragging rights as the designer of the official opera poster for Knoxville Opera’s upcoming production of Mefistfole at the Tennessee Theatre March 4 & 6, 2022. Rebecca Branton is deeply involved at Maryville College as SGA Public Relations Officer, AIGA President, and Beeson Village Resident Assistant. She is a double major in Design and Psychology.

Knoxville Opera’s mission is to provide the residents of East Tennessee with high-quality, locally produced opera and to contribute to the future of the operatic art form by educating the community about opera and its role in our culture.
