Knoxville, TN – Alliance Brewing Company has received the Best New Brewer Award for Tennessee from RateBeer.Com. The awards went to Top Beer, Top Brewer and Best New Brewer. The Knoxville brewery has been open for over 18 months and has a line up of 8 core beers; Kolsch, Scotch Ale, Belgo IPA, Oatmeal Stout, Citra Blonde, Saison, Cubano Coffee Brown and a rotating IPA.
The brewery was on the forefront of the South Knoxville business revival and is a stop for many in the mountain bike and hiking community that frequent the Urban Wilderness.
“We are very humbled to receive this award. It is quite an honor and we are very happy to represent the East Tennessee beer community,” says Head Brewer Adam Ingle.
Alliance is in good company with neighbors Blackberry Farm winning Top Brewer from the site. “It’s a very exciting time in Knoxville and East Tennessee as a whole for craft beer. We look forward to the new opportunities of 2017, especially with the new ABV laws allowing us to produce even more styles.” says Chris Howard COO and Head Cellerman.
