Guests’ evaluations of the Crowne Plaza Knoxville earned the hotel the brand’s 2017 award as top performer of all 157 Western Hemisphere Crowne Plaza hotels.

This is the second time in four years the Crowne Plaza Knoxville has earned the Excellence Award, previously winning it in 2014.

Comments from members of the Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) Rewards Club earned the Crowne Plaza Knoxville the Excellence Award as North and South America’s No. 1 Crowne Plaza hotel. IHG numbers nearly 5,000 hotels in almost 100 countries and territories. The IHG Rewards Club is the world’s largest hotel customer rewards program.

 “We’re grateful to our customers for their comments about our service and I’m proud of my staff for their year-after-year determination to ensure we give great customer service,” said Ken Knight, the Crowne Plaza’s general manager since 1993.

“To bring home this award twice in four years is particularly special because given the competition it’s difficult to do it even once,” Knight added.

The Crowne Plaza Knoxville has 197 guest rooms; 15,000 square-feet of meeting space; Mahogany’s, a full-service restaurant; a 3,000 square-foot fitness center; The Library Lounge; an indoor pool; and other amenities.
