CHEF TIM LOVE TO HOST FEAST FOR THE FARMERS IN DOWNTOWN KNOXVILLE The Famed Texan Chef Will Prepare a Dinner Under the Stars to Benefit Local Farmers and Agriculture Ahead of Lonesome Dove Western Bistro and Love Shack’s Debut in Old City |
WHAT: Join Chef Tim Love at Feast for the Farmers on Sunday, May 22nd, in celebration and support of Knoxville’s local agriculture. In anticipation of his Lonesome Dove Western Bistro opening in Old City, Knoxville, this June, followed by an outpost next door of his fast-casual burger destination Love Shack this fall, Love will be hosting an outdoor, five-course dinner benefitting surrounding farms. Love is committed to sourcing the best ingredients and supporting the community, and in pursuit of this goal, he will donate 100% of the event proceeds to help local Knoxville-area farmers pay for the historically high government audits required of them to distribute to chefs and restaurants.
Dinner attendees will have the opportunity to experience Love’s signature “Urban Western” cuisine to be showcased at Lonesome Dove Knoxville, which will feature dishes such as Crispy Beef Tendons with herbed chili rub, Tempura Cauliflower with black truffle fondue, and Mesquite Grilled Pea “Edamame”; plus mains like Bone-In Pork Tenderloin with celery root puree and honey crisp apples and Grilled American Lamb Chops with muenster gnocchi. Love’s full menu for Feast for the Farmers will be inspired by the seasonal bounty and ingredients from local growers and artisans, boasting bold flavors, wood-fired cooking techniques, and wild game offerings. Tickets cost $200 per person and include a five-course dinner with beverage pairings.
WHERE: Feast for the Farmers will take place on N. Central Street between Jackson and Willow. For an official invitation, please complete the online form here: cheftimlove.com.
WHEN: Sunday, May 22nd, 6-9pm
