The 2016 Knoxville Film Festival is now in the works! This student filmmaking competition welcomes middle and high school students to participate by creating a short narrative or documentary film about whatever subject they choose. The films can be anywhere from 5-20 minutes in length, and they must be submitted no later than July 1, 2016.

The festival will be held the weekend of August 26-28, 2016 at the Regal Downtown West Cinema 8. Then, the best 12 films - six from middle schoolers and the remaining six from high schoolers - will be determined by our panel of judges and then screened.

This competition offers an incredible and unique opportunity for students to explore their creativity and passion. We welcome all submissions and hope your students will be a part of our competition.
